Solid Waste Pickup: Normal Durham City pick up of solid waste materials occurs
on Wednesday for the green roll-out cart, every other Wednesday for the blue cart
and Thursday for the brown (yard waste) cart and bulky items. Carts are to be placed
at curb-side with the lid facing the street and at least three feet apart, by 7am.
However, during a holiday period this schedule is usually modified and pertinent
